FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Stromberg headquarters—Stromberg spotlights its traditional line of carburetors and more at the 2010 GNRS Suede Palace.
Stromberg Carburetor is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Suede Palace at the 2010 Grand National Roadster Show, L.A. County Fairgrounds, Pomona, CA, January 29 – 31, 2010.
The Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) needs little introduction to hot rod and custom enthusiasts. Started way back in 1950, the GNRS attracts hundreds of the world’s best hot rods, customs, muscle cars, motorcycles, street machines and classic trucks. And the prestigious, 9 ft tall America’s Most Beautiful Roadster award is the most sought after of prizes for car enthusiasts.
Introduced in 1996, the Suede Palace is a celebration of the show’s roots. Housed in the oldest building on the LA County Fairgrounds, it adds a real vintage flavor to the world’s oldest hot rod and custom car show weekend. Featuring hand-picked retro hot rods, vintage custom cars, drag racing machines, and vintage clothing and lifestyle vendors, it’s the perfect opportunity for Stromberg to spotlight its Genuine Stromberg 97 carburetors and accessories.
Stromberg owner Clive Prew said, “The Stromberg 97 has been the carburetor of choice for generations of hot rodders, racers and custom car builders. We’re very excited to build on that legacy by sponsoring the Suede Palace, cementing our close relationship with the traditional hot rod style which continues to gain popularity.
“The Stromberg brand remains stronger than ever and the show is the perfect opportunity to highlight our Genuine 97 range of carburetors and associated products. Visitors can look forward to a new, fully warranted chrome 97 carb, new linkage and fuel line kits and an exciting new line of branded clothing and other merchandise.”
